Project Introduction:

On March 10th, the National Development and Reform Commission issued a document confirming that two million-kilowatt nuclear power units were approved for the second phase of the Hongyan River nuclear power project. After obtaining the construction license issued by the National Nuclear Safety Agency, The second phase of the Hongyan River nuclear power project will begin to construct. This is the first nuclear power project approved in China in the past four years in real significance. Two million kilowatts nuclear power units are planned and built by the second phase of the Hongyan River nuclear power project, using the domestic independent nuclear power technology brand ACPR1000, this technology is a million-kilowatt pressurized water reactor nuclear power technology based on mature reactor implementation, which is based on the latest international safety standards and international nuclear power field feedback. The technology has the main safety characteristics of three generations of nuclear power and meets the latest nuclear safety requirements in China. The technology has been applied to the construction of Yangjiang Nuclear Power Unit 5, 6.
