Project Introduction:

On November 2, 2013, the expansion project of the terminal building and station platform of Guilin Liangjiang International Airport was officially approved by the National Development and Reform Commission. The total investment is 3.083 billion yuan, and the new terminal building is designed according to the goal of 20 million passenger throughput, 95,000 tons of cargo and mail throughput, and 101,200 aircraft movements in 2025. The T2 terminal building started construction in October 2015 and is expected to be put into use by the end of 2018. The project includes the construction of a new 100,000 square meters T2 terminal building, 400,000 square meters of platform, 31 new aircraft seats, and a new 4.3 km apron refueling pipeline in front of the T2 terminal building. On September 28, 2018, the T2 terminal building of Guilin Liangjiang International Airport was officially put into use; it was the tribute to the 60th anniversary of the establishment of Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region in 2018. The first phase of the project, the T1 terminal building of Guilin Liangjiang International Airport was completed in 1996. The terminal building has a 2-layer structure with an area of over 50,000 square meters. It has 17 boarding bridges and 6 baggage conveyor belts. The building includes commercial catering and other rental services covering an area of  6086 square meters. There are restaurants, bookstores, Internet cafes and other places in the terminal building, and there is a VIP lounge. Self-service check-in, free Wi-Fi, and complimentary drinking water are also available.
