Project Introduction

As a major project invested and constructed by Shenzhen Municipal Government, Shenzhen World Exhibition & Convention Center (HEREINAFTER referred to as "Shenzhen World") is constructed and operated by the consortium of Shekou and Oct, which is a super large Exhibition complex integrating exhibitions, conferences, activities (competitions, performances, etc.), catering and services.

Located in the north of Shenzhen Baoan Airport, the first phase of the shenzhen International Convention and Exhibition Center covers a total construction area of 1.58 million square meters, 1.8 kilometers from north to south, equivalent to six bird's nests.The first phase of the project consists of 18 standard exhibition halls, 1 oversized exhibition hall, 2 login halls and 10 supporting buildings.

Construction of The Shenzhen International Convention and Exhibition Center project began in September 2016. The first phase of the project, with an indoor exhibition area of 400,000 square meters, will be completed by the end of June 2019.When the second phase is completed, the indoor exhibition area will reach 500,000 square meters, which will become the largest exhibition center in the world.The supporting facilities around the pavilion, including hotels, road traffic, commerce, offices and apartments, are currently under simultaneous development and construction.Shenzhen international convention and exhibition center project "construction, operating + comprehensive development (BO + D)" integrated operation pattern, the introduction of capital strength, rich experience in comprehensive development, and China merchants group, oct group is responsible for the venues and supporting commercial construction, the two sides established for China convention and exhibition companies and introducing international partners, one of the world's top three venues agencies SMG companies in the United States to participate in the operations.
